Say something

One form, no email address, no phone line. It all comes to the same inbox.

Send us a message

This form is the only way to reach us. We do not publish an email address and there is no phone line. We read everything that arrives and reply to what needs a reply, usually within a few working days.

What to send where

Picking the right subject in the form gets your message to the right place faster.

Corrections

Include the article title or URL and the specific claim you are questioning. Specific reports get fixed quickly. General ones take a while to track down.

Brands & products

Say what the product is and who it is for. We do not guarantee coverage, we do not accept payment for a positive review, and sending a product creates no obligation.

Advertising & partnerships

Include the nature of the proposal and your company in the first message.

Writing for us

Read the write for us page first. Pitches that ignore what is on it do not get a reply.

Copyright

Follow the process on our image credits and DMCA page, which sets out exactly what a valid notice must contain.

Privacy requests

To access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, select the privacy option. Our privacy policy explains your rights.

What we cannot help with

To save you the time of writing, a few things we are genuinely not able to do.

Personal hair consultations. We cannot assess your hair or diagnose a problem from a message. A stylist who can see your hair is the right person.

Medical questions. Hair loss, scalp conditions and product reactions need a doctor, dermatologist or trichologist. See our disclaimer.

Fixing a colour or cut that went wrong. This needs someone in the room with you. Please see a professional rather than waiting on us.

Link exchange requests. We do not do these.

Before you write

A lot of messages are answered faster by the site itself. If your question is about a specific style, colour or technique, the search box at the top of any page is quicker. If it is about how we work, the editorial policy and affiliate disclosure cover most of it.
